GLIDE, a nationally recognized center for social justice in San Francisco, is seeking a Job Development Specialist to provide career exploration, linkages to pre-employment training, and job search/placement assistance. You will assist clients with barriers to education and employment, connecting them to opportunities for economic mobility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., full-time.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, human resources or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in vocational training or 1:1 counseling and case management services for marginalized populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed development principles and practices and/or adult learning.

Responsabilidades

• Engagement Support: outreach, rapid intake, goal-setting counseling, and enrollment in educational opportunities.
• Job Development & Placement: identify opportunities, maintain employer networks, assist with resumes and interviews.
• Data Collection & Reporting: maintain records, generate KPI reports, track activities.
• Community Outreach & Collaboration: partner with schools and local organizations to promote services.
