Sealaska Heritage Institute in Juneau, Alaska seeks a full‑time program support role to assist the Juneau YouthBuild and Cultural Warriors programs, coordinating recruitment, participant services, and resource navigation.

You will help participants develop job‑seeking skills, plan workshops, and provide follow‑up support; some travel and vehicle use may be required. Regular hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Mon‑Fri, with potential for additional events.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in career counseling, education, psychology, sociology or related field preferred.
• Notable professional experience in a related field may substitute for post‑secondary education.
• Preferred experience with career development workshops or on‑the‑job training programs.
• Experience working with diverse youth population (ages 18–24).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with program staff to recruit, enroll, support, retain, and advocate for participants.
• Hold regular check-ins with participants and established participants.
• Assist with resource development and guide participants through resources.
• Develop job‑seeking and professional skills with participants.
• Ensure trainees are prepared for interviews and conduct follow‑ups.
• Plan and conduct job-search skills workshops (interviewing, resumes, etc.).
• Conduct follow‑ups with program completers and graduates.
• Maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Provide follow‑up support services as needed.
• Attend required training and professional development events.
• Support program managers as needed.
• May require driving a company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
