Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in New Jersey seeks a Talent Development Facilitator to manage a caseload of participants, provide counseling and mentoring, assess skills and barriers, and help create employment plans for long-term success.

You will conduct regular meetings, connect participants to training and job opportunities, maintain records, and collaborate with teams to help customers achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years’ experience in workforce development or related programs preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with the communities served and local needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of participants and provides counseling and mentoring.
• Assesses participant competencies, work history, education, skills, and abilities; identifies barriers and prompts solutions.
• Conducts regular one-on-one meetings for job search, education, job retention, and job readiness.
• Creates an individualized overview of services and employment plans for short- and long-term goals.
• Maintains information about area resources and employers.
• Tracks attendance and employment retention goals; notifies agencies of changes in hours.
• Maintains participant files and logs of supportive services; ensures data accuracy.
