Job summary

Adams County Government’s Adams County Workforce and Business Center seeks a dedicated program assistant to work with WBC service delivery teams, identifying and matching job seekers with opportunities that lead to milestone outcomes. You will provide individualized career development, connect job seekers with skills training and placement opportunities, and maintain accurate records with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, or two years of substituted experience.
• Proven ability to work with diverse populations and complex schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with job seekers to assess skill level, experience, and training needs.
• Assess employment barriers and provide career guidance and referrals.
• Refer job seekers to openings; assist with resumes and interview prep.
• Develop individualized career plans to support growth and milestones.
• Input and maintain activity records; generate reports and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in job search workshops and community outreach events.
