Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Counselor to plan, coordinate, develop, and implement a professional individual and group counseling program for assigned students in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives, in conjunction with the industry team.

The role emphasizes direct student support, early needs assessment, and ongoing counseling services, with a focus on educational and career development, safety, and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field.
• One (1) year related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Successfully pass background check and drug test.
• Current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review detailed background file, conduct personal interview and recommend a program for each assigned student.
• Initiate and maintain welcome call and Social Intake Form (SIF) for each assigned student.
• Utilize Personal Career Development Plan (PCDP) to move student through correct phase.
• Provide continuous educational, career technical training, personal, and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis.
