Keeton Corrections is seeking a Resource Specialist to develop employment resources for the offender population, help with job searches, provide leads, and counsel on interview skills and résumé development. You will maintain liaisons with current and prospective employers and coordinate on-site and telephonic verifications to support successful placements.

Qualifikationen

• One year of work experience in guidance, counseling, or job placement.
• Ability to liaison with employers, research and develop employment prospects, and counsel offenders in job search skills.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Maintain offender job-search accountability through telephonic and on-site verification.
• Audit employment search verification forms and contact employers to verify presence and interview skills.
• Plan job search locations, arrange transportation, and sign in/out times for employment.
• Ensure verification procedures align with KCI Technical Proposal guidelines.
• Log monthly offender contacts with supervisors in the chronological file.
• Counsel offenders on appearance, presentation, and interview communication.
• Assist with résumé development and creation of employment resources with employers.
• Support procurement of identifying data compliant with I-9 requirements.
• Monitor job-search progress and ensure compliance with full-time employment within 30 days.
• Develop and distribute updated employment data to offenders and build community relationships.
• Assist with other duties as needed by the Director.
