Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Must become a Registered Applicant (RA) and obtain Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant (OCPSA) within 13 months of hire.
• Must obtain NPCL Co-Parenting Curriculum Certification within 120 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Commitment to maintaining current prevention, education, and curriculum standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employment intakes, assessments, and documentation, identifying client strengths, goals, and barriers.
• Assist clients with resumes, interview preparation, job searches, employment applications, and obtaining identification.
• Provide individual and group employment, prevention, education, and co-parenting services using established curricula.
• Develop vocational goals, service plans, and measurable outcomes based on client needs.
• Connect clients with employment, community, and supportive services and provide appropriate referrals.
• Monitor participant progress and conduct follow-ups at required intervals.
• Build relationships with employers, schools, community organizations, and other partners.
• Conduct employment verifications and maintain accurate, timely case records and program data.
• Prepare required reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with program staff to address client needs and resolve employment-related challenges.
• Recruit community partners for co-parenting and prevention programs.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, program standards, and applicable regulations.
