Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is hiring a Career and Resource Navigator in Savannah, GA. This full-time clerical role blends operations, human services, and career coaching to help clients gain employment, access training, and navigate resources.

You will conduct intake, provide career guidance, develop IDEPs/ISPs, connect with community partners, and document progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination in related field is preferred.
• Two years experience in case management, career counseling, or employment services preferred.
• Goodwill experience evaluated and may supplement prior workforce development.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with access to Mission Services programs and remove barriers to employment.
• Provide career coaching, intake, assessments, and guidance for education and job placement.
• Lead job readiness and employability training in one-on-one and group settings.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and employers to promote employment opportunities.
• Develop Individual Development & Employment Plans (IDEPs) or ISPs to map goals and progress.
• Build relationships with community partners to identify resources (housing, food, medical).
• Create and update community resource guides and coordinate events like career fairs.
