Job summary

Youthounstown LLC in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Full Time Success Coach at the Main Plant to provide hands-on support to clients through job placement, coaching, and career development services.

You will conduct intakes, develop service plans, document progress, and coordinate with referral sources to ensure compliant, effective programming. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Relevant experience in career coaching or direct client services.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass all applicable background checks.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with internal and external partners.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct coaching and support to clients in areas such as attendance, punctuality, grooming, job-seeking skills, work quality and quantity, time management, mobility, money management, work practices, reasonable accommodations, assistive technology, and overcoming barriers to employment.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions on job search techniques, resume development, driver permit preparation, and other relevant topics.
• Review referral and enrollment information, conduct comprehensive initial interviews and intakes with clients, and provide community resources based on assessment results.
• Adhere to program policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with CARF standards.
• Communicate with clients' referral counselors according to program guidelines.
• Develop individualized written training and employment plans based on referrals, intake interviews, and evaluation results.
• Maintain client records daily and update information in the client record system within 24 hours of meetings.
• Discuss future programming, employment options, and resources with clients to support informed decision-making.
• Assist in collecting and tracking data on client progress and program metrics.
