Job summary

Communicare is expanding its Supported Employment Program and seeks a qualified professional to guide engagement, assessment, and job placement for participants with serious mental illness.

In this role, you will supervise employment specialists, collaborate with clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion the value of work through outreach and program development. Experience with CPI training and background checks preferred; transportation required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant work/school experience preferred.
• CPI certification or ability to complete CPI training.
• Background check required.
• Must have transportation; valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Engagement, assessment, job placement, job coaching, and follow-along supports.
• Conduct weekly supported employment supervision meetings and attend clinical treatment teams as needed.
• Communicate with mental health treatment team leaders to integrate services and advocate for the value of work.
• Review client outcomes and set quarterly improvement goals with employment specialists.
