Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus six years of workforce development/case management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with three years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and goal setting is required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and lived experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform situational assessments and vocational exploration activities.
• Assess and address barriers to employment and provide supportive services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individual employment plans.
• Coordinate with referral sources and other workforce providers.
• Monitor employment retention and enter proof of employment into the database.
• Meet deadlines while following program, grant, and agency requirements.
• Collaborate with team to plan and achieve program goals.
• Maintain job seekers' files in the required database.
• Facilitate Job Readiness Training and group activities.
• Assist job seekers with resumes and cover letters.
• Contact job seekers weekly after enrollment, then taper contact after placement.
• Conduct mock interviews and assist in goal setting.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Microsoft Office and grow professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
