Job summary

John Boner Neighborhood Centers (JBNC) is seeking a Career Coach to guide neighbors toward meaningful employment. You will provide one-on-one coaching, facilitate workforce readiness training, and connect neighbors with employers offering pathways to long-term stability.

In collaboration with the Center for Working Families and local partners, you’ll track outcomes, support grant reporting, and help individuals overcome barriers to reach sustainable careers and economic mobility in Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in career coaching or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career coaching and employment support.
• Help neighbors identify career pathways and goals.
• Assist with resumes, applications, and interview prep.
• Support with job searches and employer connections.
• Coordinate and support hiring events.
