Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking a Career Advisor for their Houlton site to support program participants facing barriers to employment. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload, guide participants in developing career plans, and offer individualized support services. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred along with multi-lingual skills in Lingala, French, and English. The position offers a starting salary of $46,000+, a comprehensive benefits package, and a Monday–Friday schedule without nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
• Multi-lingual skills preferred in Lingala, French, and English.
• Minimum of one year in career services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and develop Career Plans.
• Build trusting relationships and provide individualized services.
• Identify needed support services and make referrals.
• Develop resumes and other employment materials.
• Complete administrative tasks timely.
