Job summary

JVS SoCal is seeking a Center of Excellence Case Manager in Los Angeles to provide tailored case management, assess participants, and coordinate employment-related services. This role emphasizes compassionate client support and collaboration across partners to help participants access training and job placement opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years of experience, with CWDP certification pursued within the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Workforce Development, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in case management, workforce development, social services, or related area (preferred).
• Knowledge of WIOA guidelines and employment barriers for diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a supportive and empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in case management software and data entry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to create and manage individualized service plans.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of community resources and supportive services.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
• CWDP coursework and exam within 3 months; CWDP certification within 12 months.
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites; some evenings and weekends; in-person role.
