Job summary

JVS SoCal in Los Angeles is seeking a Center of Excellence Case Manager to provide tailored support, assess needs, build individualized employment plans, and connect participants with training, counseling, and job placement opportunities. You will work in person across LA County, travel between sites as needed, and maintain confidentiality while coordinating services.

A BS degree in Social Work or related field and 2+ years of case management are preferred, with CWDP coursework/certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Workforce Development, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in case management or workforce development preferred.
• Knowledge of WIOA guidelines and employment barriers faced by diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathetic client service.
• Proficiency in case management software and data entry; strong organization.

The Center of Excellence Case Manager is an essential support system for participants, empowering them to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future through employment and career advancement. The Case Manager provides job seekers with tailored support and case management services, helping them access training, career counseling, and job placement opportunities. This role involves conducting assessments, creating individualized employment plans, and coordinating supportive services that align with each participant’s unique needs. The Case Manager plays a critical role in promoting sustainable employment and career growth by offering ongoing guidance and connecting participants with necessary resources.
