Job summary

Trinity Industries seeks a dedicated Career Auto-Welder for our Longview, TX location. Responsibilities include operating automatic welding equipment, assembling metal components per layouts and blueprints, and performing routine maintenance on welders.

You will weld parts manually and with machines, ensuring high-quality seams and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate has arc welding experience, can perform level 1 welder tasks, and is comfortable welding out of position while

Qualifications

• Experience with sub-arc welding processes.
• Ability to perform Level 1 welder tasks and proper arc setup.
• Proficiency in auto welding and out-of-position welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal pieces together using automatic welding equipment per blueprints and layouts.
• Welds manually or with machines and performs basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Welds straight seams with consistent results and follows safety practices.
• Maintains records and participates in safety initiatives.
