OVERVIEW:This component of our school guidance program assists students in becoming college and career ready.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee the College & Career Readiness Center.
• Conduct site-based workplace visits.
• Utilize the Naviance career platform to create work-based learning plans with targeted students.
• Coordinate connecting activities with MassHire Berkshire Workforce Development Board, the Dalton CRA, and other local/state agencies.
• Develop and run college and career workshops.
• Communicate effectively.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Attend all meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Facilitate informational evening sessions for families as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned by building principal.

REPORTS TO:Principal

SALARY: $30,000 prorated to reflect a start date of January 4, 2027. This position is contingent upon continued funding beyond the 2026-2027 school year. The position may be terminated if the funding is not renewed or ceases.
