Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, business, career counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of direct career counseling experience at a college or university; or a bachelor’s with five years of experience.
• Experience administering, interpreting, and utilizing career assessment tools and frameworks.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using career services platforms (Handshake, 12Twenty, Symplicity CSM, LinkedIn Learning, CareerShift).

Responsibilities

• Counsel and advise College of Business students and recent alumni on career development.
• Assist in identifying career goals, exploring pathways, and developing job search strategies.
• Develop and promote the College of Business Career Pathways Program.
• Design, promote, and facilitate workshops and programs for career planning and development.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, student organizations, and university partners to ensure coordinated support.
