Job summary

Compass Career Solutions, sister company to Dungarvin, seeks an in-office Employment Specialist to support client-driven case management and employment services in the Olympia area. Daily on-site work and community outreach are required.

Responsibilities include assessing eligibility, aligning client goals with employer matches, documenting progress, and building partnerships with community providers. Strong communication, scheduling flexibility, and drive are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preference for a Bachelor's in social services.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year related experience in employment services or training.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle.
• Self-starter with strong time management and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of DDA and DVR.
• Conduct assessments and interviews to determine eligibility.
• Identify clients’ employment goals and potential matches.
• Document care and follow support plans; collaborate with team.
• Assist clients to grow their career and obtain employment.
• Help clients achieve wages at or above minimum wage.
• Provide ongoing employment-related skills development.
• Document progress toward goals and maintain records.
• Build community partnerships with providers and employers.
• Represent Compass at meetings and events.
• Attend internal and external meetings.
• Travel within the area and provide transportation to clients.
