Wake County Public School System in North Carolina seeks a Career Academy Coordinator to support Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academies and to provide and coordinate career development services for students. You will work with administrators, teachers, parents, and industry partners to ensure successful transitions to postsecondary education and employment.

Competenze

Bachelor’s Degree and current CP license in a CTE program area, or current CP license as a School Counselor (G level).
Must hold or be eligible for licensing as a Career Development Coordinator (747) or Career Development Facilitator (741).
Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license per NC requirements.

Mansioni

Serve as the main point-of-contact for the career academy and promote the academy model.
Collaborate with school, community, and industry leaders to plan work-based learning events and monitor participation data.
Maintain fidelity of the academy model by cohorting students, following course sequences, and supporting teacher collaboration.
