Job summary

Elara Caring in Des Plaines, IL seeks a Care Team Supervisor for Personal Care Services. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a salary range of $22–$25 per hour.

You’ll guide caregivers, coordinate care plans, and ensure accuracy in records and billing while supporting branch growth. This position emphasizes leadership, compliance with regulations, and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with elderly or disabled populations preferred.
• Five years in a fast-paced office or healthcare environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and home care operations preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and documentation skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Bilingual fluency may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule personal care services, including coverage for planned and unplanned absences.
• Maintain client service records, plans of care, caregiver schedules, and required documentation.
• Review and manage service authorizations and contract-specific requirements.
• Monitor reports to ensure accuracy in billing, payroll, utilization, and service delivery.
• Support branch growth initiatives and operational planning efforts.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with licensure, payer, contract, and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers to promote performance and engagement.
• Ensure caregiver compliance with trainings, health assessments, and in-services.
• Conduct caregiver orientations as required.
• Collaborate with payroll and timekeeping teams.
• Monitor daily service delivery to ensure adequate caregiver availability and coverage.
• Monitor authorizations align with scheduled services and review utilization reports.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, clients, case managers, and leadership.
• Represent Elara Caring positively within the community.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule personal care services, including coverage for planned and unplanned absences

• Ensure ongoing compliance with all licensures, payer, contract, and regulatory standards
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers to promote performance and engagement
• Ensure caregiver compliance with required trainings, certifications, health assessments, and in‑services
• Conduct caregiver orientations as required
• Collaborate with payroll and timekeeping teams
• Monitor daily service delivery to ensure adequate caregiver availability and coverage
• Monitor systems to confirm authorizations align with scheduled services and review utilization reports
• Communicate professionally and effectively with caregivers, clients, case managers, and leadership
• Represent Elara Caring in a professional and positive manner within the community
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support team and organizational success

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with elderly or disabled populations preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in a fast‑paced office or healthcare environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and home care operations preferred
• Strong computer proficiency and documentation skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Bilingual fluency (Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian, or Portuguese) may be required based on location
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally and occasionally to support audits or operational needs

You will report to Care Team Manager, Lead, Branch Director, or Regional Branch Director.
