Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living in Franklin, WI is seeking a Care Team Scheduler who also acts as a Caregiver/Med Passer. You will organize staffing, record absences and secure replacements while providing resident care under supervision.

This role requires excellent organization, problem solving and strong customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining the care team schedule, communicating with teammates and managers, handling time-off records, and being on-call every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a healthcare environment; scheduling experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintains schedule for care team department ensuring shifts are filled to meet staffing needs.
• Supports and maintains effective communication with team members and managers.
• Communicates clearly over the phone, in person, and in writing with caregivers and management.
• Manages records to ensure staffing per established standards including call-offs and replacements.
• Maintain records related to time off requests, approvals and denials, tardiness, and missed punches.
• Daily correction of missed caregiver punches and tracking missed lunches/breaks.
• Provides care to residents or passes medication per direction of the Care Team Manager/ALM/BHM or Executive Director.
• On-call at least every other weekend to take call-offs; may cover shifts in the community.
