Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager (CTM) to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of one of our residential homes supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

As CTM, you will lead Direct Support Professionals and residential staff, oversee daily operations, ensure care plans are followed, provide coaching and performance feedback, assist with recruiting and scheduling, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience in IDD, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or residential services preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff.
• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned home.
• Ensure individuals receive care and support per their plans.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention.
• Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor compliance with policies, state regulations, and care standards.
• Support medication administration and health/safety procedures as required.
• Respond to behavioral or operational concerns and escalate when necessary.
• Build positive relationships with individuals supported, families, staff, and partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a hands-on leader who steps in to support the team.
