Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager (CTM) to lead day-to-day operations of a residential home supporting individuals with IDD. You will supervise DSPs, oversee operations, coach staff, and ensure care plans are followed in a safe home environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff development, and collaboration with families and community partners within a 24/7 residential setting.

Qualifications

Previous experience in IDD, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or residential services preferred.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff.
Oversee the daily operations of the assigned home.
Ensure individuals receive care and support per their plans.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention.
Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Monitor compliance with policies, state regulations, and care standards.
Support medication administration and health/safety procedures as required.
Respond to behavioral or operational concerns and elevate issues when necessary.
Build positive relationships with individuals supported, families, staff, and community partners.
