Job summary

Westmont of Chico is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support seniors with daily living activities in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, housekeeping, meals, transfers, and personal care, while maintaining safety, reporting changes to the supervisor, and supporting a warm, homelike environment.

• Full open availability.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Criminal record clearance prior to start.
• Pass health screens (Physical, TB, drug test).
• Current basic first aid, or obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, and serving meals.
• Assist with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Help with transfers, ambulation, and other needs per the resident service plan.
• Keep environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe residents for safety and report changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Must have Full open availability

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,

  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,

  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.

• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.

• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community

• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test

• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
