Job summary

Westmont Living Chico is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents with daily living activities, meal service, and memory care needs. You will work with a caring team to provide respectful, person-centered care in a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities include aiding with ADLs, housekeeping, bed making, and safe transfers. Weekend and holiday availability is required for full-time roles with benefits after a probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, bed making, and meals.
• Assist with showers, toileting, dressing, transfers and ambulation.
• Assist with personal laundry and other daily resident needs per the care plan.
• Keep the living environment safe and clean; observe and report changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Must have Full open availability

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,

  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,

  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.

• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.

• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community

• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test

• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
