Qualifications

• Typing speed 30 wpm+.
• Experience with an EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals to specialists and providers.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorization; track activity.
• Schedule appointments to coordinate patient care where needed.
• Maintain accurate referral tracking and documentation.
• Provide clinical background to specialists per referral guidelines.
• Communicate with providers to close referral loops and document outcomes.
• Review referral details with patients; clarify expectations.
• Ensure HIPAA confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
