Job summary

ChenMed is expanding its team to deliver innovative primary care focused on seniors. The Care Promoter 1 role blends administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision to support the physician-led care team.

You’ll collect vitals, assist with exams, communicate with patients and coordinate care across multiple clinicians, while maintaining strict safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a recognized Medical Assistant/EMT/Paramedic

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, clinicians and staff.
• Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of reports and data.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP/Clinician and staff.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with exams.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to physician.
• Perform routine lab procedures and collect samples.
• Provide medications administration under physician supervision.
• Maintain supplies and sterilize instruments in a compliant manner.
• Handle patient messages and relay information to physicians.
