Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant in Orlando to provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. You will maintain care records, report changes, and interact with residents, families, staff, and vendors to ensure quality, compassionate service.

Applicants must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete required state training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records, reporting any changes in residents' conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must be a team player and contribute to a caring, respectful environment.
