Reflections at Garden Place - Columbia, IL is seeking a Care Partner for full-time night shifts (6p–6a) with every other weekend and holidays. You will provide personal care, monitor health, and offer companionship to our residents, while engaging in meal support, activities, and communication with families and staff.

We value teamwork, willingness to learn, and the ability to pass background checks. Licensing documentation may be required by state law, and accommodation needs will be considered.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide health monitoring and document changes to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Engage in social and recreational activities to support well-being.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Pay Range: $16.00 too 17.50 based on experience
