Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care for residents, including activities of daily living, mobility support and incontinence care. You will maintain care records, monitor changes, and communicate with residents, families and staff.

Candidates must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent with state-mandated training, and be a certified Home Health Aide. A compassionate, reliable team member is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete required state training.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Honest, fair, dependable and respectful of privacy and confidentiality.
• Must meet health requirements and pass a background check.
• Certified as a home health aide (HHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep accurate care records and report changes in conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
