Compass Senior Living is seeking a full-time Care Partner for day shift. The role requires 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm, including every other weekend. You will support residents with daily living activities and lead engaging activities to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, and light housekeeping, while ensuring clear communication with residents and families. A warm, compassionate attitude is essential for success in this role.

What You’ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene
• Lead and participate in meaningful activities to bring fun and joy to our residents
• Obtain food handlers permit (as required by state regulations) and help serve meals
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, vendors and the general public
• Come to each scheduled shift with a positive attitude and ready to work
• Assist with general housekeeping duties and laundry as needed
• Must have kindness and compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will need to be able to pass a fingerprint criminal background check, and meet health requirements including a physical exam & TB test
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
• You will bring great work ethic with attendance being a high priority.
