Compass Senior Living is seeking Care Partners & Medication Aides for PRN varied shifts to join our team dedicated to compassionate elder care. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, provide emotional support, assist with meals, and participate in enriching activities while fostering communication with families and staff.

We value teamwork, reliable English communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic senior living environment.

Competenze

• Willingness to learn and work within a team
• Good verbal communication in English with residents and coworkers
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation

Mansioni

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor health status, document changes, and report to Wellness Team
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents

What You’ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
