Qualifications

Two (2) years recent experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years in a healthcare clerical position with exposure to patient records or dictation preferred.
Interaction with electronic medical records and communication systems required.
Ability to read and understand written material and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Provision of patient care and comfort under supervision of a registered nurse.
Accurate reporting to the registered nurse.
Assist with clerical responsibilities for assigned patients.
Respect patient population age, development, and needs; maintain confidentiality.
Follow HIPAA rules and organizational privacy policies.
Communicate respectfully with patients, families, visitors, and team members.
