Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Care Partner to support the Registered Nurse and healthcare team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. The role focuses on daily living activities, comfort measures, and basic patient care tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, vital signs, and data entry in the EMR while maintaining HIPAA privacy and professional communication with patients and families. A strong team spirit is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with hospital experience.
• 1 year hospital experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ARC-BLS, or BLS Instructor required upon hire.
• Graduation from a state-approved CNA or Patient Care Tech program preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive patient experience by partnering with the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures under RN direction.
• Support care delivery, attend to patient needs, and ensure safety and documentation.
• Perform basic patient care tasks, monitor vital signs, and transport supplies as needed.
