Job summary

Meadowlark Retirement Village in Sparta, MI is seeking a Per Diem Care Partner to brighten days and help residents feel at home. You will assist with daily living activities, share conversation, serve meals, and contribute to a safe, welcoming community.

The role focuses on compassionate care, daily routines, and meaningful engagement, with varying days and a per diem schedule. Benefits and daily earnings support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL (activities of daily living) support including bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
• Plan, lead, support, and participate in meaningful activities
• Assist in moving, positioning, and transporting Elders
• Assist with the application of prosthetic and supportive devices
• Prepare and serve breakfast and provide snacks
• Measure and record vital signs
• Safely store medications received from the pharmacy
• Keep home areas clean and perform routine housekeeping
• Make beds and change bed linens
• Launder clothing, linen, and other articles
• Clean up after lunch and dinner
