Job summary

Omega Senior Living Llc in Wayne, NE seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents according to care plans. You will assist with meals, housekeeping, and personal care while documenting care and communicating changes to the nursing team.

Must hold current CNA certification in Nebraska and be able to read, write, and speak English. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred; we offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant from the state.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nurse Assistant having completed a state approved training program and required examinations.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents per care plans.
• Complete daily shift reports and communicate urgent needs to the next shift.
• Assist with resident care including housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with meals and essential clean-up, and record entries on flow sheets clearly.
• Report any changes in a resident's condition to the DON/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' protected health information and comply with reporting requirements.
