Job summary

Artis Senior Living in Herndon, VA is seeking a Care Partner (CNA) to join our 3rd shift team. This full-time role requires caring for residents with Alzheimer's/dementia, responding to calls, documenting care, and transporting residents as needed.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, 3 weeks PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The schedule is 11pm-7am, with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA certification if required by state.
• Must be willing to obtain/maintain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Fulfill continuing education credits as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for residents with Alzheimer's/dementia.
• Respond to emergency calls and situations, document and report care.
• Transport residents to meals, enrichment activities, and programs.
• Review and follow resident care plans consistently.
• Observe residents for behavioral changes and communicate with clinical staff.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and safety in all duties.
