Job summary

CARE PARTNERS is seeking compassionate Care Partners to join our team in Oklahoma. You will provide personal care for residents, assist with daily living activities, and help monitor health while documenting observations for the Wellness Team.

You will also offer emotional support, engage residents in social activities, assist with meals, and communicate with families and coworkers. Light housekeeping may be required, with a focus on dignity and respect for every resident.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe health changes and report to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Communicate with residents, families, team members, and guests.
• Light housekeeping and general cleanliness.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well‑being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You'll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
