Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor health and document changes; report to Wellness Team.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
  • Communicate with elders, families, and other team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping.

What You\'ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

  • You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
  • You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder\'s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
  • You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
  • You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
  • You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
  • You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
  • You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You\'ll Bring

  • You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
  • You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Pay Range is : $16.00 and $17.00 an hour
