Job summary

CARE PARTNERS is hiring to support seniors with daily living and wellness activities. You will assist with personal care, monitor health, and provide companionship in a compassionate, team-focused environment. You’ll also help with meals, activities, and light housekeeping while communicating clearly with residents and families.

Applicants should be able to pass a background check, read/write English, and carry any required state licenses. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Health monitoring and documentation of changes to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Support social and recreational activities for well-being.
• Communicate with residents, families, teammates and guests.
• Light housekeeping and maintaining general cleanliness.

What You’ll Do

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
