The University of Michigan seeks an experienced Project Manager to develop and manage a clinical intake system for individuals with bipolar disorder. This role involves coordinating patient care, managing workflows, and collaborating with community providers to enhance patient navigation through the healthcare system.

This new position requires an experienced project manager to develop and manage a clinical and research intake system with integrated care navigation for individuals with bipolar disorder who are seeking care through the Psychiatry Department at the University of Michigan. This position will interface with the ambulatory clinical intake call center, the general adult psychiatry intake team, the Bipolar Disorder Clinic and the Prechter Bipolar Disorder Research Program. The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient use of the resources of the Bipolar Clinic, coordinate effective screening of referrals and organize clinical information to enable the decision process regarding the suitability of the referral to the clinic and/or research. This position will also act as a care navigator for patients, assisting patients in movement through the system. The Project Manager will interface with community-based providers in the context of a collaborative care model that will include facilitating referrals to the community and offering consultations to community providers.
