Job summary

The Crossing is seeking a Pastor/Care Ministries leader to oversee Care Resourcing, counseling referrals, and pastoral care development across multiple St. Louis-area campuses.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, counselors and ministry teams to shape care classes, events and trainings that support people in their spiritual journey. You will help develop and implement care programs such as Grieving with Hope, Overcoming Church Hurt, and The Marriage Course, while training pastors, staff,

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years related ministry experience are expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage Care Resourcing including counseling and referral process; maintain relationships with counselors and organizations; oversee screening and explore additional support options.
• Lead and direct oversight of pastors/leaders/facilitators; develop growth strategies for care classes (e.g., Grieving with Hope, The Marriage Course).
• Assist with development of pastoral care response and training across campuses (funerals, hospital visits, crises).
• Assist with pastoral and leadership responsibilities across environments and care events/classes.
• Create curriculum and training opportunities for pastors, staff and key volunteers; coaching and emotional health basics.
