Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support for residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will help with daily living activities, assist with medications, and maintain safety and cleanliness across the community.

Responsibilities include observing residents, documenting changes, assisting with meals and activities, and communicating with staff to ensure quality care and confidentiality of resident information at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience with seniors preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observes, reports and documents residents' symptoms and conditions.
• Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Assists with continence management and sanitizes the environment.
• Serves meals, assists with feeding, and notes appetite changes.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assists residents with daily living activities as instructed.
• Greets and assists residents, family, visitors and staff.
• Performs resident laundry as assigned.
• Assists/observes medications using Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident information and medications.
• Restocks the medication cart after medication passes.
• Counts narcotics with another Medication Care Manager or Nurse.
• Maintains and cleans the Medication Room and charts.
• Takes vital signs as assigned; records temperatures, BP, weight, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
