Job summary

Your Health Organization in the Little River/Myrtle Beach area is seeking a Clinical Scheduler to coordinate all in-person visits for patients within a single care team, ensuring delivery of appropriate encounters under our value-based care model.

This full-time role supports clinicians and staff daily, with a focus on accurate scheduling, documentation, and proactive patient engagement across facilities and homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare degree preferred.
• Preferred CMA, LPN or RN.
• Previous experience in medical/healthcare scheduling or administrative role.
• Familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and insurance verification.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify and timely schedule patients according to the care model.
• Track new patients and ensure they are scheduled.
• Schedule appointments based on availability, medical urgency and patient preferences.
• Coordinate multiple schedules and optimise disciplines.
• Ensure patients are followed and scheduled after discharge from inpatient care.
• Schedule TCM appointments promptly within required windows.
• Document thoroughly and maintain patient follow-up.
• Utilise multiple software systems to manage visits.
• Interact with patients via email, portal, phone and in person to gather info and provide pre-appointment instructions.
