Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Summit, NJ is seeking a part-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with ADLs, follow individualized service plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents through daily activities.

The role also involves supporting dining services and communicating with families in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Excellent communication and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes accordingly.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
