Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Mountainside, NJ seeks a Caregiver to provide hands-on personal care and support for residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and daily activities, following individualized care plans and preserving dignity and safety.

As part of the team, you’ll engage residents, assist dining, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment while communicating with families and care leaders. Some memory care duties are involved to enrich daily life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong compassion and communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes to care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
