Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is looking for a compassionate Caregiver in Illinois to provide hands-on support with daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, and engage residents through meaningful interactions. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and independence in a warm senior living environment.

As part of the Sunrise team, you will assist with personal care, dining support, and communication with families, with opportunities for training, growth, and competitive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses.
