Job summary

Monarch Communities/Brandywine Senior Living seeks a dedicated Caregiver to support residents overnight (11pm–7am) on a full-time basis. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with pay ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, reporting to the Clinical Services Director.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, housekeeping, and activities per each resident's care plan. CNA or DHS certification plus HS diploma required; elderly care experience preferred, potentially with dementia exposure.

Qualifications

• CNA or DHS certification plus High School Diploma is required.
• Knowledge and experience with the elderly population is preferred, including dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting and feeding per care plans.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, dressed, safe and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided during the shift.
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to supervisor.

Job Description

The Caregiver will report to the Clinical Services Director. The Caregiver is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Full Time : 11pm - 7am

Salary Range: $20.00- $22.00 Hourly

Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts
• Document all services provided to your assigned residents during your shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification plus High School Diploma
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
