Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Burke, VA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support with daily living activities, assist with ISP adherence, and promote safety and independence for residents. You will engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment while collaborating with families and care teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and reliable, empathetic communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
